This year we are proud to have on board many of the faces from last year, as well as introducing some new faces for this year!

Our Driver: Amar Sharma

At only 29 years of age, Amar is already a veteran of motorsport. He grew up on the track, with father Raj “The Tiger” Sharma competing in the previous ute series called the V8 Brutes, often seen at the track helping his dad out and getting involved in the mechanics of the car.

Amar competed in Go-karts from a young age, and in his teens worked his way up through the ranks in various series, including Formula BMW, Suzuki Swift Series, Excel Cup, Australian Production Cars and finally the SuperUtes.

Team Manager: John “Barrel” Pachos

Barrel has managed successful racing teams for over 20 years. His knowledge and experience has seen him win 3 V8 Ute championships. Clearly, he knows what it takes to get a winning car on the track!

Barrel is the leader of the team, and we’re extremely lucky to have him on board.

Head Mechanic: Harry Drakakis

Harry is the boss when it comes to anything under the hood of the car. He’s a long time racing enthusiast, and expert automotive mechanic, with over 15 plus years of experience.

Harry’s dedication and precision we hope will see our ute crack the top spots this year!

Team Mechanic: Mitch

Mitch is our go-to man whatever needs to be done on the track. He’s an experienced auto mechanic and racing fan and ensures the car is in top shape when it needs to get on the track.

Trainee Mechanic: Sean

Sean is one of our newer members of the team, joining us for the start of Sean has a natural passion for racing and a keen eye for detail, ready to soak in and learn whatever it takes to win!

Social Media & Content Manager: Petros Galanis

Petros is a highly experienced and sought after photographer and videographer, and social media mastermind. We are extremely lucky to have his experience join our team to spruik all of our efforts and boost our social followings.

Olivia is another new addition to our Vast Motorsport family this year. She is a racing and media enthusiast, and keen to learn what it takes behind the scenes to get a team to peak performance on and off the track.
